Vacation Day

Today was a vacation day. Mark & Lisa were here and we played Rock Band, Wii Fit - we ate a big lunch at Kimono Japanese in Kernersville and then went to the Palladium Cinemas in High Point to see Kung Fu Panda. It stars Jack Black and I have to give this movie an "A". Mind you, we were 4 adults and being 37 I was the youngest - and it was just as cute as could be. I liked the message of the film, that just because you don't fit the bill as a hero, doesn't mean you can't do the job.

We left the theater and went to Target, shopped a bit and then went home and watched "The Brave One" with Jodie Foster. I tell you, that was also an excellent film. Highly recommended.

Tomorrow we're off to Carter Brothers for a wonderful breakfast. They are going to head to Lynchburg, VA tomorrow and we'll go up Sunday to visit.

It's hot!!! Oh my, I can't get cool. I wonder if I could really spontaneously combust? I feel like I am.
