Today has been much better than yesterday.
TARA - thoughts, read below?
Last night I went to the 8:05pm movie show - to see "Tropic Thunder". I had to just leave my house - I was simply addled.
WELL - Tropic Thunder ROCKED!!! It was very politically incorrect and I laughed so hard I cried. There are benefits to going to the movie at 8:05pm on a Tuesday night -
1) You can pick your seat. There are no crowds.
2) You can put your feet up on the seat in front of you.
3) You can laugh out loud
The negative thing is it is $9 for a ticket. I've told Danny before they should pay US to watch the movies with all the commercials they show.
OKAY - Tropic Thunder was hilarious. Most people reading this know that I'm twisted, and this movie appeals to my nature. Tom Cruise did an excellent job. There was a lot of swearing in the movie, but I did expect that and it wasn't surprising. (It was worth $9 to me as well) There is a discussion that some groups are concerned about - but, it's a conversation I have had myself.
Robert Downey Jr. was hilarious as well. Oh my. His opening trailer was over the TOP. Jack Black was funny too!! Everyone did great!!! Go see it!!!!!!!!!!! (I am going again, but matinee probably)
"Mama, I'll see you again tonight in my head movies. But this head movies makes my eyes rain!" Simple Jack
I've had my eye on Danny McBride since I saw the movie "All the Real Girls", he was in Tropic Thunder. He went to the Winston Salem School for the Arts. But what strikes me most about this fella is how much he looks like my ex-husband. Well - it's been since 1995 since I've seen him, so this is what I remember him looking like....
***************
We're booking Cox's Legal Pad for our fall vacation/10 Year Anniversary.
One of my best friends Tara is getting married on October 11th - and I'm going to be the register-er-er person. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!
Then on Sunday 10/12 we're going to Sandbridge to stay at "our house"
