Hurricanes in the Atlantic - UPDATE

Hi ya'll - just wanted to update you all on hurricanes in the Atlantic.

It's Wednesday - September 3rd.

Hanna is churning through Haiti now

Ike is making his way up - then to Josephine.

Here are a couple of eHow articles on how to get prepared for hurricanes and tornadoes and any other adverse affects caused:

It's so important to have a little survival kit ready - you just never know what is going to happen with these kinds of storms.

Also - scan your important documents and save them to a flash drive (passports, birth certificates, insurance papers, etc) and make sure you have a little cash on hand. While I'm telling you what to do - fill your cars up with gas - they are going to find a reason to jack up the gas prices again!!!!
The last big hurricane that caused any real damage around the Triad was Dolly in September, 1996. [Thanks Tara for helping me remember the name. Any other readers, I scared Tara with my memory skills!!!]

Be safe children!!!
