Christmas is Over....Here's a Mish-Mash of Thoughts

.... Did everyone have a wonderful Christmas?
... Did ya'll have fun with friends and family?
... Was Santa good to you?
... Did you get everything you wanted?

We had our Christmas morning breakfast and poker tournament. My aunt Jane, Dickie's wife, won the poker tournament. Bless her heart, she didn't even realize she was playing a game.

At work on Friday someone asked me why her iPod didn't work, she just didn't understand. Come to find out - she didn't have a computer, and hadn't uploaded any songs to it. Go figure!!!

Yesterday, I purchased a book by Tom Moon, 1,000 Recordings To Hear Before You Die at Barnes and Noble in High Point, after a delightful lunch out with my husband at Liberty Steak House. Tom Moon was on the Today Show - weekend talking about his book. It was very interesting...and the book is quite big. I'm hoping to get some culture - because I know A LOT about rock and roll, but not much about classical, blues or jazz, one day I may be able to discuss
  • Albert Ayler
  • Henri Dutilleux
  • King Oliver and His Creole Jazz Band
  • Silly Wizard
  • Bob Willis and His Texas Playboys
but, not today. I've barely cracked the book open.

Well children, it's Sunday morning and I haven't done a thing all weekend, why start now?

Who wants to go and see Revolutionary Road with me?
