Ya'll, I love Halloween. I love to see those kids dressed up - and all excited. Not to mention the candy - Candy - CANDY!!!
However, I don't like the scary movies. ICK!!! That is all that's on. My husband loves to fret me with this - as I'm easily terrified.
In honor of Halloween, here are some things that I am scared of...
1) Pinheads - like in Hellraiser
2) Demons - they are real, and they scare me.... I have to bind them up in the blood of Jesus (seriously)
3) Kysar Soze - spelling may be wrong, but you know who he is
4) Girls named Regan - never seen the Exorcist, never plan on it
5) Boys named Damien - again, I am praying hard
6) The movie Seven - I went to see this with Karen and Dan, they had to shush me b/c I was so nervous - actually, this is love/hate because I would watch it again...
Ya'll get it - I'm a chicken!!! Blood and gore, I can handle easily - spooks, haints, ghosts and demons.... no way.

Here are some Halloween memories I have...
1) Dressing up like Cyndi Lauper
2) Dressing like a punk rocker - in a trash bag
3) Seeing the Rocky Horror Picture Show (what kind of picture? what kind of show?)
4) Halloween party at Stacie's one time, I dressed like Sprout
5) Halloween party - dressed as alter ego "Chesty LaRue, the pirate wench", we watched South Park - Danny actually went out that night dressed as Darth Vader
6) I've waited for Trick or Treaters for several years, maybe I've got 6 - 8 in the past 3 years. We just rarely get them. What a bummer!!! Where are the children?
That's what's on my mind tonight children.

I LOVE scary movies! I think it's because it takes so much for me to become scared watching them. I keep thinking "hey, those special effect guys are awesome" and stuff like that... totally ruins it in my mind for realism. LOL But exorcist?! YIKES. I watched 1/2 . I was too disturbed and angered by the crucifix scene to watch it all. I think Halloween stinks but I love horror movies! And CANDY! lol
